Spirituality / Web App
The product invites a daily return: one calm screen, today’s quote and prayer. Instead of retention metrics, we focus on experience quality and client satisfaction with the launch.
A spiritual app cannot look like an aggressive portal. The client wanted calm UX, a daily visit ritual, and gentle music, without browser policies blocking sound on first load.
One calm screen with the day’s prayer/quote, clear hierarchy, and music unlocked on the user’s first gesture (Chrome, Safari, and Firefox compliant).
Live on mojamodlitwa.eu: a calm experience the client can show as mature UX, without invented retention metrics.
A spiritual app cannot look like an aggressive portal or a blog template. Users should feel calm and return out of habit, not notification pressure.
The client also wanted gentle background music, but browsers block sound on first load without user interaction. That cannot be forced autoplay.

One calm screen: quote/prayer toggle, a central card for the day’s content, and a restrained background. Everything is clearer and in the right place.
Music does not use classic loud autoplay on URL load. On the first user gesture (tap, click, or turning music on from the control) we unlock the player, per Chrome, Safari, and Firefox policy. Only then can ambient audio run without a blocked-audio surprise.

Browsers treat audio as consent-gated: a cold visit cannot suddenly play sound. Forced autoplay ends in silence or console errors; users hear nothing anyway.
We use unlock-on-first-gesture: one handler on the first touch/click starts the audio context, then the track can play. That is the standard compliant pattern for ambient sites, not a workaround. A visible music control makes it clear sound is available when the user chooses.
The project is live on its own domain and reads as a product, not a mockup. The client can show it as an example of calm, mature UX.
We do not publish DAU stats; we have a product that delivers the goal: daily engagement through a simple, repeatable visit ritual.
“It feels as calm as we intended. Users know where they are and come back willingly.”
No invented numbers: outcomes in the product and reception. Everything is clearer and in the right place:
